EG Gonzalez got into the home building business in 1987. He quickly gained experience and built a reputation for staying within budget and finishing the home on time. Although the homes he builds today are larger and more luxurious than his first homes, his approach has not changed. He still believes in hard work, give the people’s their money’s worth, and paying attention to detail. EG builds only eight to ten homes per year, believing that quality work is far more important than quantity. While staying on deadline is important, he will not compromise his commitment to quality workmanship.

The home building process begins with the initial interview that is far more involved than just simply talking about the new home. EG wants to get a reading of the client before a decision is made to go forward with the planning process of picking the lot, getting the house design, deciding on appliances, cabinetry, landscaping and every other possible detail. There are numerous meetings before they arrive at a price and satisfactory contract. EG requires that the clients go home and discuss the contract before a meeting is set to sign the final agreement. Even after the contracts are signed EG continues to meet with the client, as he believe it is important to keep the client involved in the process.

Building the home is only part of the equation for EG. He strongly believes in after the sale service and he prides himself on being very available whenever there is a problem, whether large or small. Clients, subcontractors, construction workers and tradesmen speak highly of Gonzalez, who is known for his fairness and his ability to treat everyone equally, from the day laborer to the construction superintendent.
